Our Paramedics and EMT's
Our paramedics work closely with local hospitals to best treat our patient while in our care. Each paramedic unit is equipped with a specially tuned cell phone and medical high band radio to be able to reach the hospital emergency room doctors in even the most remote areas to advise them of our position and time of arrival, as well as to gain medical direction on the best way to treat the patient while en-route to the hospital.
We also operate under our own local medical director who monitors the quality of our patient care. Our medical director also makes certain that our service is current on medical updates and training so that the treatment en-route to the hospital is unsurpassed in quality and care.
Although nearly all of our staff are employed in paid positions, most of our EMT's and paramedics also volunteer while not on the job. We feel that this selfless dedication really shows their commitment to the profession that they have chosen. Emergency Medical Services is more of a way of life than a job. We are truly "in it for life".
